Make your own Vegan Dead Sea Salt scrub with Coconut & Bergamot oils

Iv been making my own body scrub here at glolifewellness and I’d love to share it with you so you can create your own.

This beautiful scrub is full of amazing oils that leave your skin feeling soft and the moisture locked in.

What you will need

  • Jojoba oil 100ml
  • Coconut oil 100ml
  • Mineral oil 100ml
  • Primrose oil 100ml
  • Dead sea salt fine 1kg
  • Sweet almond oil 100ml
  • Your choice of essential oils for scent

Sweet Almond Oil get yours here

Organic Wheatgerm Virgin Oil is packed full of nutrients, making it an excellent addition to your daily skincare regime. It is effective at nourishing and protecting your skin. It is an emollient and is easily absorbed by the skin, so makes an ideal skin moisturiser.

This oil contains Vitamin E, which is one of the most powerful free radical fighting natural antioxidants, meaning Organic Wheatgerm Virgin Oil is particularly useful for mature skin.

Coconut Fractionated Oil is super lightweight, fast absorbing yet ultra moisturising. It is a great all-rounder oil. Caprylic / Capric triglyceride

Evening primrose Oil get yours here

Evening Primrose oil is rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, which your skin needs to remain healthy. Its comprised of 72% Linoleic acid and 9% Gamma Linolenic Acid, which means this oil is beneficial to those with oily skin. The unique fatty acid profile of Evening Primrose Oil makes it an excellent choice for skincare, the Omega 6 fatty acids can help balance the skin by counteracting dry or oily skin. It is also a great choice for mature skin.

It is an excellent emollient, which is gentle and keeps skin hydrated. This soothing oil supports the skins barrier function and helps keep moisture locked in to the skin, keeping it moisturised and supple. It is quite a light oil and is absorbed by the skin at a medium rate, so it won’t leave your skin super oily.

The Dead Sea is thought to be around 15 million years old is one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world, nearly 10 times saltier than the ocean. Famous for its hyper salinity, people from all over the world visit the lake for its believed therapeutic benefits. The extreme salinity of the lake makes a very harsh environment for plants and animals, which means not very much can survive there, hence the name – The Dead Sea.

This naturally occurring salt is supremely rich in minerals, particularly Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium and Calcium. It can be used as a natural bath salt, for a relaxing and mineral rich bath.

What you need

  • 250ml jar
  • 8 x tbsp of Dead Sea salt
  • 2x tbsp mineral oil
  • 1x tbsp coconut oil
  • 1x tbsp evening primrose oil
  • 1x tbsp almond oil
  • 1/2 tbsp wheat germ oil
  • 1x tbsp jojoba oil
  • 20 drops of your choice of essential oil for scent I choose bergamot lemon and lavender

How to use

Massage a generous scoop onto drenched skin and rinse off, for more intense result massage into dry skin before stepping into a warm bath or shower yo wash away salts
