Tea’s and infusions are a great way to ensure your body gets enough liquid throughout the day. Iv listed most of my favourite morning teas below but there are so many more …to be added soon in more detail.

MORNING TEA’S
Our bodies are in digest mode when we wake so get started with a cup of hot water with a squeeze of lime or lemon this is one of my favourite’s but I also enjoy.
GINGER
Ginger is known to ease digestion and reduse nausea, I used this when I had morning sickness in my pregnancy , it did not ease the nausea but I felt better for drinking it. Its also packed with antioxidants and may reduce inflammation fight respiratory problems and relieve stress (which is exactly what’s needed for us during the 2020 covid 19 ) Ginger also increases blood circulation and gives a nice warm sensation when we drink it.
ROSEMARY
As an energizing herb it is known to promote blood circulation , and also stimulates digestion and improves cognitive function (I need this tea now )
SAGE
Absolutely loaded with antioxidants. That defend our body from free radicals which can attack cells and lead to heart disease cancer and premature aging. It may relieve inflammation and treat gastrointestinal problems.
THYME
Thyme is a really great herb it can clear chest congestion relieve gas and bloat and act as a diuretic. This is also full of antioxidants, vitamin K and even minerals such as iron manganese and calcium l.
PEPPERMINT
Peppermint is know to aid digestion and settle upset tummy and nausea. It contains calcium , vitamin b and potassium which boost your immune system. Its also great as an evening tea too with its soothing affect.

NETTLE
Nettle is my untimate favourite , it has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties and contains essential vitamins and minerals such as iron potassium and magnesium. Great for me and balancing hormones. But careful not to consume too much as it can have an affect on blood sugar , blood pressure and anxiety , insomnia and blood clotting – especially if you are on medication
LEMON VERBENA
Lemon verbena has a calming effect on the nervous system and can ease stress and symptoms of depression. It aids digestion and intestinal problems like nausea and diarrhoea.
There are so many more which I’ll go into more detail with and follow my blog to catch my list of evening teas coming soon which ate all perfect for relaxing and unwinding ready for a good night’s sleep.
